Our subconscious mind processes 2.6 million bits per second vs. our conscious mind at 127 bits per second. That is a hell of a lot of information to process at once. ⠀ If you walk into a room, consciously you may notice and fixate on one thing but your subconscious is still scanning the entire room and storing that info. The problem is that all of that info is too much to store, so it gets generalized for "key" points, some gets deleted because it isn't necessarily "needed" and then guess what happens next..... it gets distorted. This means the stories we have in our head of how things happened may actually look different than we remember. It's how you have multiple stories from different sources that may have seen the same incident play out. This is also how limiting beliefs, stories and eventually patterns form. We take the stored info and make it mean something about ourselves. Maybe that we aren't good enough or that we were not valued etc. and this is what keeps us stuck.
It's important to speak directly to the subconscious mind to identify the block and help release it as well as any stuck and stagnant energy. Since the stories are essentially filtered, speaking to the subconscious doesn't necessarily look like a normal conversation. Today's podcast episode is giving you the behind the scenes of this process! Listen now!
